Curriculum

 

Austin ISD's curriculum is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills(TEKS), College and Career Readiness Standards(CCRS), English Language Proficiency Standards(ELPS), and 21st Century Skills.  AISD standards-based curriculum is written using the Understanding by Design (UbD) framework designed by Jay McTighe and Grant Wiggins.

We use the AISD’ Curriculum Road Maps (CRM) to address and teach state mandated TEKS.
